Interface Design Games

CALL OF DUTY MODERN WARFARE 2

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 video game consoles and the Microsoft Windows operating systems.


Interface:

Design of interface is nothing specials, they just straight to point or purpose of story's the game. In first person shooter like call of duty that we don't have main character, most important is Game play, storyline and effects. Interface it's not too important, because we just do shoot and follow the story. So interface only simple and does have point.

Interface Design Games

PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2010


Pro evolution soccer is football video game and known as Winning eleven 2010 in Japan. It was developed and published by Konami for release on Sony's Play station 2, Play station 3 and Play station portable; Xbox 360,Windows.

The interface of the game:

Team's name when we starting the match.

The interface is so clear to show users/ Players what happen on this match. Logos and Team name make the players/ users know the position their team. This interface make the match look more real. It does red and blue color in background of the box, its function is to make contrast around a team (Home) with another team (Away).


Radar


Name plate

The interface isn't very useful for pro-player or user. Most of player use "player name sign" on top the player, instead when players or users have focused to the game they don't see of the interfaces. They are occasionally to see the interface. The position of the interface isn't disturbing players because camera only focuses to ball. Anyways it is see-trough and it has simple design for do not disturbing players.


Strength shoot

It's same like name plate, simple design but it's useful. It is very useful when the player do free kick or corner kick.

Score

Score on right top of screen, the design is simple. Even though it's simple, it does logos to make little interesting. If only put teams name, it will be boring and it's very useful for viewer the match to know the score.

Time

The design very simple, only numbers. It doesn't disturbing players/ users when they play.


Menu

The menu is simple design, nothing special. It is only a black box and white words to make contrast with the box; and the pink for selector.


Goal celebration

PES 2010 does have same character for interface. It does have simple design; only put logo and some words in black box for giving info to the users/ players. On the box has little design to create little interest for interface.


Game Replay

The design too nothing special, but it does have contrast for the buttons info. They look like little messy because red, yellow and green color too contrast and not harmonious with other components.


Overalls:

For the game like Pro evolution soccer 2010, they no need to make complicated colors or difficult design. Clear and easy to understand are concept for its interface, because their target is teenagers and adult, even though can play from 3+.

My GUI

this is my story line, My scene to be animation when the robot walk like normal, suddenly the stuff/ shapes come out from his body and he stop.



This game will ask the user or player if want to repair the robot or not, if the answer "yes", then it's play.

Do have more design for your font; different type fonts, different color on your fonts, and other.

"Don't only show 3 of them, we have more than that and don't make bad design for yours, because you already have 1 good design. Make it all best and choice by yourself".
